Fabrication
Our corporate office in Mission, Kansas houses a state of the art, 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse and fabrication facility capable of supplying over 6,000 heads of fabricated material a month. Our computer automated weld line produces welded outlets superior in quality than those welded by hand. With over $500,000 in material on hand, we can supply jobs quicker than our competition. We have our own fleet which includes three full-time delivery trucks. With our inventory, in house fabrication facility, and distribution capabilities, we can meet any project schedule.
Design
Our design staff is the most capable in town with over 20 years of average experience. With more projects being designed in 3D, our technical capabilities and experience sets us apart from our competitors. Coordination with other trades has always been one of our strongest qualities. With several LEED Platinum and Gold projects completed, we understand the special needs of sustainable design.
Manpower
With well trained and highly qualified union fitters, American Fire can successfully man our projects without compromising our quality standards. While the Union training is excellent, we do not rely on this training alone. American Fire invests an average of 60 hours per man in continuing education and safety training each year. All certified in 10 hour OSHA, AWP, 3M Fire Caulking, and CPVC installation.
Project Management
American Fire is one of the only sprinkler contractors in the Kansas City area that has a dedicated Project Management department. This provides the consistency and structure required to meet the challenging needs of large projects. Separate Sales and Project Management departments prevent the common sales distraction that occurs with the sell and manage strategy. However, we still manage projects as a team with tight integration between the team members from Design, Sales, Project Management, and Construction.
